Private Coaching for Juniors
Some of our juniors develop a passion for chess and wish to
quickly improve their skill level. This can be for personal fulfillment, to
prepare for local tournaments or to prepare for State and National
championships. Whatever the reason and current skill level, we have a personal
coach for you.
Our private coaching sessions are offered at our Chess
Center facility in Costa Mesa, in your home or at your preferred location. Rates
start at $35.00 per hour by a
qualified expert. For semi-private sessions add $10.00 per student per hour.

 Behind
all great junior chess stars you will find a coach who provided personalized guidance,
instruction and motivation. US Champion Larry Christiansen was coached
by Lee Corbin. And World Champion Bobby Fischer was coached by Jack
Collins.
